Carl Dickel , the son of the famous German animal painter Carl Friedrich Deiker, was a Well-known painter and writer of the 20th century. His biography is well documented in “Thieme-Becker”, the encyclopedia of the most famous artist in Germany.
He studied painting at the Düsseldorf Art Academy from 1894 to 1898 and joined the "Novembergruppe" Artists Association in 1904.
Inheriting his father's context, Carl's works are mostly animal and hunting themes, and the birds and beasts in the works are often in the wild landscape.
